How Schoolocity handles your information

What we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us through this site:
- Inquiry form: your name, role, school or organization, work email, and the improvement priority you describe.
- Mailing list signup: your email address.
- Scheduling: if you book a conversation, Calendly collects the name, email and any notes you enter under its own privacy policy.
Please do not submit confidential student information, personnel matters, or other sensitive school data through this site. Those belong in a signed engagement with appropriate safeguards.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and, where there is a fit, to discuss a possible engagement.
- To send mailing list subscribers occasional news, resources and offers from Schoolocity. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and we send only to people who signed up.
- To keep basic records of conversations with prospective and current clients.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site. Mailing list addresses are stored by the email service we use to send our newsletter. Scheduling data is stored by Calendly. Each provider maintains its own security and privacy commitments. We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records, and we remove mailing list addresses when you unsubscribe or ask us to.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies. If we add basic analytics to understand how the site is used, we will update this policy to say what is collected.
Children
This site is written for school and district leaders and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in the message, or ask us to delete your information by writing to hello@schoolocity.org. We will confirm when it is done.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
